Job Search with WorkBC

I was unemployed. I used to struggle with getting call back after my interviews. I came to WorkBC Centre Guildford to look for possible employment opportunities. The team at WorkBC Centre Guildford intervened at the right time and turned my life around. Through Case Management, I could successfully complete Community Support Worker program. I was hired after my practicum for casual position. Due to lesser hours being allocated to me, I wanted to switch my job to a sustainable one. With the help of Upasana Kapur (my case manager), I was scheduled for an interview. My previous experience was an asset and Wage Subsidy facilitated by Rashi Jain supported my application and helped me secure a job. I am currently employed full-time. I’d like to thank everyone at WorkBC and it is commendable how they go that extra mile and care about all the people they support.
