Kierzek's Successful Journey while in Addiction Recovery

Addiction Recovery

I was unemployed for 4 years due to drug addiction. I have a criminal record and the major challenges which I faced in keeping my job were owing to my addiction.

It is when I decided to work on myself and got helped by Phoenix Society in getting rid of my addiction, I came to know about WorkBC Employment services. I had heard some very inspiring success stories and it motivated me to meet Gladdale at WorkBC Centre Guildford.

This was life changing as I received great help and support from WorkBC. I managed to pursue a few courses and I also enrolled for CWS college program.

Currently, I am working full time. I am grateful to WorkBC and would like to thank everyone there for all the help.

WorkBC

WorkBC is the provincial government's access point to the world of work in British Columbia. It was created with one key goal — to help all British Columbians to successfully navigate B.C.'s labour market.
