Aligning My Interests with My New Skills
Before coming to WorkBC Centre Guildford, I was unemployed and uncertain about my future. I did not know where to begin my job search, where to find opportunities, or how to market my skills to employers. The entire process felt overwhelming, and I lacked confidence in whether my experience and training were enough to meet the demands of the local job market.

My sister saw the challenges I was facing and encouraged me to visit WorkBC. She believed they could provide the guidance, resources, and support I needed to move forward. Today, I am employed as a Medical Office Assistant. With updated qualifications, new skills, and the support of WorkBC, I was able to successfully secure a position in a field that aligns with both my interests and strengths.
